Listening to Old songs ......
A few days back I was listening to the song "Tujhsey Naraz nahi zindagi ".... when I saw it posted on my cousin's facebook wall.
There are some songs which take you to a totally different world instantly . This song and the one from "sadma" and "raat ki hatheli par from the movie "Refugee"..were just amazing...I guess these songs were written by lyricists in their dreams while they were flying around in their magic carpets.......
Imagine the summer days„"a full moon night,lying down in your bed in the courtyard you are listening to these songs and trying to slip intp your sleepy dream world...you can see the big palm tree standing tall over your house's boundary wall and its shadow running over you.....the cool breeze keeps flapping the palm leaves to give you occasional but priceless glimpses of the beautiful and bright full moon ...you listening to "tujhsey naraz nahi zindagi" suddenly get shifted to your own dream world....your past years, the good times from school, with family ,your vacation with your special friends suddenly come flashing by in front of your eyes....you keep drowning deep into your thoughts and your imaginary images ....the melody of the song keeps you hooked on to it...and instead of sleeping,you keep turning from one side to the other trying to relate this song with your life...you forget all ur worries , you feel as fresh as you could ,....it goes on and on and on and suddenly you hear somebody calling ur name and waking you up.You reluctantly open your eyes, only to find out its already morning....and then you realize you had slept long back.You wish nobody had called you and woke you up and your dreamworld would have had no horizons....
Such is the magic of these melodies that the only effort you need to make is listen to them heartfully....and tighten your bed belts because you never know to which world you will be transported to....
